Henna’s Monday Club continues to run every week giving our members a safe place to socialise and reduce loneliness. The Monday Club has developed members into taking full ownership
of the service with weekly introduction of different cuisines
being shared around the table alongside breaking down
cultural barriers and creating community cohesion.
The Monday Club has always been the main hub to encourage conversation about lifestyle choices, local service provisions and opportunities, health & wellbeing and many more subjects.
The Monday Club has always given our members knowledge on several subjects and a chance to ask questions in their private community setting.
The Monday Club provides space for beneficiaries to meet up and enjoy each other’s company. We also have a range of other organisations that come in and spread awareness in regards to different health/social issues that our beneficiaries face on a daily basis.
This is one of Henna’s oldest and most successful service helping in discussing social/cultural issues, health issues, participation in outings,
chair-based exercise and arts & craft activities.
“Monday Club is were all the action takes place,
even if I can’t come to every service,
I always make sure Monday is free for my day out to the center”
